818 Productions, David Quittman Capturing History.

In the early 2000's paintball scene of Southern California, a new movement is emerging. Youthful, aggressive, and fiercely loyal to each-other, the Hostile Kids are setting trends and pushing pro teams to their limits on the historic fields of SC Village. The fashionable and skilled group of players led to the emergence of one of the best videographers the sport of paintball had ever seen. David "Quittski" Quittman was right alongside all the original Hostile Kids the entire way and spent his youth filming and preserving this movement. He filmed and produced videos that would have a widespread effect on the paintball community. Young players all over the country imitated what they saw and were inspired to bring new styles into the game.

If anything, I feel that entire movement is best remembered for the massive impact it had on creating a sense of individuality in the sport. Although almost lost to time, David has been kind enough to share what remains of his early days in the sport he had. These videos have some of the most iconic players in the sport and feature players in their youth before they become some of the biggest pro players in the game. Players like Alex Goldman, Scott Kemp, Mark Kressin, Kenny Rosenburg, Jules Foote, and many more can be seen. They capture a unique moment in time and represent paintball as it emerged as a mainstream sport.
