The Breakout Team of the Year is awarded to the team that outperformed any persons expectations for the season and pushed themselves up the ladder behind solid play and growth of their roster. It isn't easy to compete and find success in the professional paintball division of the NXL, but these teams were able to find that special sauce that helps a team make the jump into the elite conversations.
