The story almost always starts the same; a friend planned a birthday party at the paintball field or invited them out behind their house to play. Of course most of our mothers gawked and panicked at the idea as soon as they heard the words “gun” or “battle”. But, just as they felt horrified, every single one of us had a Dad that thought it sounded awesome and snuck us off to go and play, or at least my Dad did.

One of the most critical events of the Major League of Paintball season has concluded, and the results could have massive implications on the season championship race heading into the Champions Cup. Going into the event, San Diego Dynasty boasted a massive lead in the Pro standings behind their two event wins to open the season.

The longest break of the 2023 Major League of Paintball season has concluded, and the Windy City Major is just a short day away, with the season title race in the balance across all divisions of the National XBall League. After Tampa Bay Damage was able to end the Dynasty streak of dominance last event, the pro division standings have shuffled, and San Diego is in its first real danger of losing their top spot all year.

The Major League of Paintball is hosting their second European major event of the season; a stacked field of pro and semi-pro teams from all over Europe are preparing to travel to one of the best fields in Britain, CPPS. After an authoritative win to open the season in the Netherlands, it’s once again time to Feel the Joy in European paintball.

The National Xball League paintball season just crossed the halfway point of the year at the Mid-Atlantic Major in Royersford, PA (Just outside of Philadelphia) and it was a spectacular event. With every competitive level from Professional down to Division 5 (and Youth) all in a tightly contested race for their respective season titles, the incredible venue just outside of Philadelphia provided a more resolute picture on how the rest of the year may pan out.

The Major League of Paintball is officially at the halfway point of the season, and the NXL is preparing for its third event of the year hosted in Royersford, just outside of Philadelphia. The Mid-Atlantic Major is one of the most pivotal events of the year for professional teams, marking the point of no return in the race for the season title.

The second major event of the 2023 Major League of Paintball season has concluded, and the NXL Lone Star Major marked a subtle shift in the tides in the Pro Division. The royalty of the NXL like Dynasty, Heat, and Damage still have a firm hold of their fates, but increasing pressure from the former vassals of the league’s elite are rebelling against the established order of the world’s elite paintball division.

It has been nearly three years of uncertainty and change since the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic started; it brought along with it a shutdown of all nearly all organized sporting activities in Europe and paintball was not immune to this. However, much of that is now in the rear-view mirror as NXL Europe, the premier professional paintball league in the EU, has been led back to a steady path of growth under the Major League of Paintball and the NXL.

The opening event of the Major League of Paintball NXL season has concluded and Dynasty is once again on top of the pro division. For the next few days, players from all over the country will collide in Kissimmee, Florida for the opening event of the NXL season, the 'Sunshine State Major'. With the vast majority of the pro league improving their rosters over the off-season, the season opener will bring paper-teams into reality and all the speculation will come to a head at 10 balls per second at the world's premier competitive paintball league.

In 2019, X-Factors' dominant performance in Chicago led to a season title, just as Dynasty was able to reign supreme and push the season title race out of reach after a gritty win in the Chicago heat last season.

As we are now officially at the halfway point of the 2022 NXL Paintball season, the pro points race is heating up. The concept of an open event is not a novel idea to the National Xball League. However, for the first time since the open format introduction at the start of the 2021 season, the field of professional teams participating is massively expanded.
